It’s no secret that Toronto’s housing market is exploding, but it looks like our neighbours to the north have finally started to stand up and take notice. The New York Times released an article this week about our frenzied housing market and it focuses heavily on the bustling Liberty Village area. Read it here.
While the article speaks well to many of the economic factors responsible for this boom as well as speculating about the possibility of a “US style crash”, it unfortunately neglects to mention some of the incredible marketing techniques used by these successful developers.
N5R’s client, Plaza, built and sold the majority of condos in the Liberty Village area with an enormous amount of success. How did they do it? They told a story. If you’re familiar with our philosophies here at N5R, you already know how important we believe a story is to your marketing campaign.
When you’re selling luxury condo, like the ones in Liberty Village you need to be selling a lifestyle rather than selling a home. To do that, you need to tell a story that brings an emotional element to your customer’s buying decision and the best way to tell that story is with a world-class sales video.
Sales videos are an incredibly versatile marketing tool for condo developers. They’re much more impactful than text based brochures and can be used on your website, on YouTube, in your sales office, in video email blasts or even on TV. After all the average Canadian watches 5 hours of TV each day.
As this New York Times article points out Condos in Canada are benefiting from a booming housing marketing, but these Liberty Village condos were sold by communicating a story. They spoke to their buyers aspiration perfectly and they exposed an enormous audience to that story by featuring they’re video on our Condo TV Show.
