It's official! Google+ is now available to everyone! A variety of new improvements have been released (thus moving from field to beta status) and among these is an internal Search field. Let's talk about some new and exciting features to Google+.
One of the most exciting features for Google+’s group video chat feature: You can now access Hangouts from any Android device that has a frontal camera. Simply click Join” on any hangout to connect to your chosen hangout. Extra features include the ability to share a screenshot, open a sketchpad, and Google Docs which will begin a collaborative document.
Users can now create publicly-viewed hangouts, which can include up to 9 people and anybody can watch these recordings. It's important to note that creating a Hangout on Air is still limited to a small number of users, but anyone can watch the recorded broadcast.
In addition, a big complaint regarding Google+ was that there was no way to search, which does prove a little ironic. Finding anything proved to be more difficult than it should have been. Now, you can simply press Enter or click “Search Google+” and you’ll be taken to the new search page. Finally!
