Video Skype and FaceTime are extremely powerful mediums. They give you a chance to show your consumers your product as if you were together in person, though obviously in person is always way better.
N5R's Roman Bodnarchuk speaks in Hong Kong about the importance of Skype:
Why Your Next Sales Meeting Should Happen Over Skype or FaceTime:
Attract more interested customers
Give Skype or FaceTime a try if you want to attract more interested customers. You’ll be very surprised by what powerful tools they can be and how many people already use them. They’ll allow you to communicate with your words, with your voice tonality and your body language while you introduce customers your products in an interactive way.
“38% of communication comes from your voice tonality, and 55% comes from body language.”
“Virtual” virtual tours
If you were selling a home you could use FaceTime to give potential buyers a virtual tour.
If you were selling a new car you could use video Skype to show them an up close look at the interior.
If it’s your job to sell printing services, you could show your customer printing effects and binding treatments.
The next best thing to meeting in person
It’s the next best thing to actually being there with a customer, and a lot of people can put Skype on their TV now. They’ll be looking at you on a 60-inch screen and that’s a totally different experience.
