5 Steps in Lead Nurturing

An important part of your business is to keep yourself noticed. Nowadays, there are so many methods to advertise, especially online. Lead nurturing is a way to increase potential leads through sending automatic emails. It’s a great way to inform and connect with those in your database, while also building visits to your website.

N5R's Roman Bodnarchuk speaks in Hong Kong about the importance of lead nurturing:

1) Start at the Macro Level

With a CRM system, email marketing is easy. Just like an article in the newspaper, make your first email like a title in a story. While still focusing on the service your business provides, keep the information broad. For example, if you want to reveal your company’s skills in online advertising, your first email can be about why online advertising is important. The email should include some research found from a third party.

2) Get More Specific

The second step in lead nurturing is to send a second email, which should be scheduled to get sent in a couple days. It will focus on the same topic but be more specific. For exmaple, in this email you can write about why online advertising is important in real estate and the shift that has been occurring.

3) End at the Micro Level

In your final email, it’s your chance to focus on your business. For example, explain how your company has successfully used online advertising. Sending three different emails makes your business noticed while not making it just about why you’re the best.

4) Use the Right Tool to Keep Track

With the right online tool, you can find out right away who has opened and read your email, and who ended up going to your website afterwards. You can learn more about the person using the tool to see what they viewed on your website and for how long.

5) Be Ready to Call

After learning who visited your website, it is time to give them a call. If someone from your database is going through your website, they are more likely to be interested in working with you than someone who doesn’t visit your website.
