Two social media resolutions you need to implement for 2012

You've got your facebook, twitter, and social networking sites up and running. You even have found ways to use social media to connect with condo prospects, nurture leads, and continue the conversation with buyers. But, it's not time to rest on your 2011 laurels. n5r social media

2012 is a new year, and as social media matures with regards to consumer usage and in marketing activity, here are two (2) new best practices from N5R:

1. Get your brand on google+ now!

If you haven't already done so, create and promote your new Google+ account. Get familiar with the features, start building and nurturing connections and learn how to share and you'll be ahead of the pack.

Why?  Your google+ posts will potentially display quite high in the google ranking pages; and, because it's google, google+ will surely become social media nomenclature in 2012.

2. Throw out the "Post once a day on facebook" rule!

With the new facebook timeline launch and the increased speed of social media, the rule that a daily facebook post is sufficient no longer applies.

Why? Social media users will likely see your post within 3 hours; otherwise your post will become lost down the page. So, that means that users would welcome a minimum of 3 posts per day before they get burnout from your brand.

Cheers to 2012 as you take your social media game up a notch!
