Social media has rapidly evolved into a modern day phenomenon. Ranging in use from ordinary individuals of society, to large corporations such as Apple, Nike and Microsoft, we can all say that we feel much more connected due to social media outlets.
So with all the significant impact that social media has provided us, don’t you think it deserves one day of recognition? Well, cities like New York, Toronto, Dublin, Reno, San Jose and San Carlos have all shown much appreciation to social media since 'Social Media Day' launched in 2010.
With just a few more weeks to pass, the state of Nevada is preparing themselves for their first ever Social Media Day, which is taking place on June 30th, 2012. We are sure to see #Nevada trending in North America, if not Worldwide on Twitter.
