The new home market in the GTA rebounded in May, with both the low-rise and high-rise sectors seeing a surges in sales. According to RealNet Canada Inc., there were 3,526 new houses and condos sold in the region last month, a 24 per cent increase from the 2,833 sales counted in May 2013.

I know what it's like to be busy in the condo project sales and marketing business, so if making it brief is how I can get the message across then I have no problem with that. I run my company N5R on the following motto: It's Not The Market, It's Your Marketing. It is a personal belief of mine, and time and time again different situations have proven it to be true. Granted that some jobs are always more challenging than others, one should not be quick to give up on a market where people are still buying condos, real estate or whatever you are selling. Today I want to share with you one extreme example that I will never forget, an experience which only served to reinforce my convictions. I worked on condo project sales in Jacksonville, Florida, right when the market was crashing in the US. I only did it as a favour to a friend who is a very successful developer in Toronto, who needed to sell as fast as he could and get out.
